Terms of Service

The short version. BabyBlocks apps are free to download from the Apple App Store. Premium features are an auto-renewing subscription on a monthly or annual cadence (for BudgetBaby, $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year). You keep ownership of anything you make with them. Cancel any time from inside Apple's App Store settings.

By downloading or using a BabyBlocks app, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which sits on top of anything we say here.

1. Who you are dealing with

BabyBlocks apps are made and supported by Intrigue MMC LLC, operating as Intriguing Insight ("we," "us"). Contact us at [email protected].

2. Your license

When you download a BabyBlocks app from the App Store, Apple grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, under Apple's standard terms. Our rules on top of that:

• You may use BabyBlocks apps for your own personal life and household.
• You may not redistribute, resell, rent, or clone the apps.
• You may not reverse-engineer the apps except where allowed by law.
• You may not remove our copyright or trademark notices.

3. In-app purchases

BabyBlocks apps offer auto-renewing Premium subscriptions through the App Store. BudgetBaby Premium is $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year (saves about $26 over the year); pricing for other apps is shown inside the app and at the time of purchase in your local currency. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your Apple ID settings without contacting us; the cancel takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The exact features each tier unlocks are listed inside the app.

4. Payments and refunds

Apple processes all in-app purchases and handles refund requests through the App Store. The fastest path is reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple denies a refund and you believe you deserve one, write to [email protected] and we will look at it personally.

5. Your content is yours

Budgets, pantry items, lists, notes, and anything else you put into a BabyBlocks app belong to you. Nothing is shared with us. We do not store your data on our servers.

6. Updates and availability

We ship updates through the App Store. We will keep BabyBlocks apps working on reasonably recent versions of iOS and iPadOS, but we may raise the minimum supported version over time.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use BabyBlocks apps to do anything unlawful or to infringe on someone else's rights. You are responsible for the data you enter and what you do with it.

8. No warranty

BabyBlocks apps are provided as is. We build them carefully and test them hard, but we cannot guarantee they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome will follow from using them. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Intrigue MMC LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of a BabyBlocks app. Our total liability for any claim related to an app will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law where you live.

10. Apple-specific terms

Apple is not a party to these terms. Apple is not responsible for the apps or any claim related to them, including product liability or failure to meet legal requirements. If an app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the price. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Intrigue MMC LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes not subject to mandatory local consumer protections will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is material, note it in the next release. Continued use of a BabyBlocks app after the change means you accept the new terms.
